Yes you can renew your passport with your tourist visa if you have a job offer.

Question 12: Hello! I lost my national identity card of Cameroon and I have no photocopy nor the number of my card, I would like to know how to proceed to renew my passport under these conditions?

To renew your passport after the loss of your Cameroonian national identity card, we invite you to make a declaration of loss in the offices of the police of Dubai or Cameroon and with the certificate of loss that you will obtain, you can come to Consulate to issue a new passport.

Question 13: Hello, can a Cameroonian get married at the Consulate General of Cameroon with his fiancé who is also Cameroonian but does not reside in the United Arab Emirates?

YES a Cameroonian residing in the United Arab Emirates can marry at the Consulate General with another NON resident Cameroonian.

NO it is not possible to establish a Cameroonian national identity card at the Consulate General for the moment, nevertheless we invite you to establish a consular card.

Question 17: Can I stay for a few months with an expired passport?

The minimum validity of your passport must be 6 months on the date of entry into the Emirati territory, under penalty of refoulement.
In addition, if you hold a residence visa, this validity is reduced to 3 months.
We encourage you to anticipate the replacement of your passport within a reasonable time (minimum six months before its expiry) and to inform you of the conditions for renewing your residence visa or the conditions of entry into your destination countries.

Question 27: Do I need a Covid-19 test before entering Cameroon?

Due to the circulation of the COVID-19 virus and its variants which remains active, any entry into Cameroon and any exit from our territory is supervised. Therefore, it is advisable to be carefully and imperatively informed of the regulations in force by referring in particular to the COVID-19 alert in the advice to travelers in order, on the one hand, to check whether the trip to or from the country envisaged is subject to the regime of compelling reasons, on the other hand, to respect the health measures put in place upon entry into Cameroonian territory.

A negative PCR test is required upon arrival in the territory, including for young children. The sample must have been taken within 72 hours prior to boarding a flight to Cameroon. A test is systematically carried out on arrival, for all travelers, at the airport.

On site, it is essential to scrupulously respect preventive measures: avoid gathering places and apply barrier gestures. In the event of the appearance of symptoms evoking Covid-19, it is possible to report to the medico-social center.
