VISAS Types

There are three main types of visa in the Diplomatic and Consular Mission in Cameroon.

- The diplomatic visa:

It is issued by the Protocol Department of the Chancellery to a category of persons (diplomat) having a special status within the framework of bilateral or multilateral international relations.

- The courtesy visa:

As its name suggests, this visa is issued just like the diplomatic visa, to a category of persons having a special status within the framework of bilateral or multilateral international relations. It may also be issued on an exceptional basis to certain persons. Courtesy visa does not mean free visa. The process of issuing the courtesy visa follows a specific approach. It is different from the ordinary Visa.

-  Ordinary visa:

This visa is open to anyone wishing to travel to Cameroon. It is required of all foreigners (persons of all nationalities) except for nationals of countries (or regions) with which Cameroon has signed special agreements on the movement of goods and people.

The types of VISAS issued by the Consulate General of Cameroon in Dubaï

The entry visa to Cameroon is now issued with multiple entries. Its duration was extended to six (06) months for the short-stay visa, and twelve (12) months for the long-stay visa.
